Future of cellphones

Its can be hard to imaging what different can be added to our mobile or cellphones over the coming years. There are technical advancements that are already in most mobile phones that can be improved for instance, like higher mpg capability to take better photographs, higher memory for more music downloads, quicker internet access in another improvement.

Likely The Mobile Phone Will Remain Constant

But these are not really new innovations just improvements on existing ones. We can’t even quantify the size of the mobile phone, as minute phones have already been produced but did not sell as well as they are harder to use, the screens allow less options and are easily lost. So it is likely the size off the mobile phone will remain constant, but more technology will be squeezed in to it.

TV Broadcasts Through Mobile Phones

Some say TV broadcasts through the mobile phone will be the future and the technology is already there, but with the trend being towards larger TVs in the 21st century it is hard to conceive that anyone would prefer to watch anything on their mobile phone.

The same argument applies to DVD playback or should I say mp4 playback, it is a great gimmick, but most people do not want to squint to see a piece of film action, so on the surface it looks like the future, but the fact it isn’t already here, may suggest that some doubt it will be successful until it is so cheap, it does not matter if it used or not.

Internet Usage Mobile Phones

Internet usage, again looking at a small screen is not what many aspire to, although some mobile phones have been designed so that the whole surface is actually the screen so maximise the experience.

So what is the future of the cell phone, who knows!! I don’t think the mobile phone manufacturers really know either. I believe their plan is to try everything until the next new thing comes along.
